Vínculoo® was honored at Brazil's National Education Management Award (PNGE) 2026, in the Management Excellence for Companies category, with its Special and Inclusive Education project. The award was presented during the 24th edition of GEduc, the Brazilian congress on education management, in March, in São Paulo.
This edition set a record, with more than 150 projects entered.
But the number that explains this recognition is not the award. It is another one.
The data behind why Vínculoo® exists
In 2024, only 6.4% of Brazil's classroom teachers had continuing education in special education. That is around 151,000 teachers in a country with 2.4 million. The figures come from the Panorama da Educação Especial 2025 report by Instituto Rodrigo Mendes, built on Inep school census data.
In other words: more than 93% of classroom teachers are working without continuing education in the field.
And demand keeps growing. Special education enrollment more than doubled in a decade, from 930,000 students in 2015 to 2.07 million in 2024. Most of them are in public schools.
The same report carries the painful arithmetic: at the current pace of teacher training, Brazil would need centuries to prepare every teacher in the system.
It is not a lack of will. It is a lack of structure.
Every day these teachers are on the front line, doing what they can for their students. Willingness is not the problem.
The problem is that schools receive the student without receiving what it takes to support them: organized information about how that student learns, a plan that fits the daily routine, a way to track what worked.
Without that, teachers spend their energy on paperwork and little is left for the classroom. Vínculoo® was built looking straight at that reality.
What the National Education Management Award is
The PNGE has existed since 2008 and recognizes excellence in practices developed by educational institutions and companies across Brazil. It is an initiative of HUMUS Consultoria Educacional, co-organized with ABMES, ANACEU, ANEC and FENEP.
Projects are judged by a panel of sector specialists on consistency, impact, innovation and potential for replication. Awards are organized by category and by segment: basic education, higher education and companies.
The Management Excellence for Companies category, where Vínculoo® was recognized, is in its second edition. It highlights solutions built by organizations contributing directly to the transformation of Brazilian education.
Who else was recognized
SEBRAE, for its Potencialize Premium Solution, and Efigie Academy, for its My Way career and internationalization platform, were also honored in the same category.
Among educational institutions, Colégio Dom Bosco São Paulo was honored in Management Excellence for basic education, and PUC-Rio in the same category for higher education, with a scholarship management project using Open Finance and AI.
The focus stays the same
Vínculoo® keeps its feet on the ground and its focus on what matters: helping schools and teachers turn information into pedagogical strategy, with more clarity, less bureaucracy and more impact on students' daily lives.
An award does not change Brazil's teacher training statistics. What changes them is tools reaching the school and time coming back to the teacher.
