What is Vínculoo® and what does it change for me?
It is the platform the school uses to understand how your child learns, plan their support and record what they managed to do. For you, that turns into follow-up through the year, written the way people actually speak, instead of a report full of acronyms twice a year.
Do I have to buy anything?
No. The school or the education network is the one that contracts it. You follow your child's development through what the school shares, and you take part in recording what works at home.
My child has no diagnosis. Can they still have a plan?
Yes. The Case Study starts from the observation of the people who are with them at school, not from a diagnosis. Support begins while the queue for assessment moves and, when the report arrives, it joins what has already been recorded.
What are the IEP, the specialist-support plan and specialist support?
They are the names the school needs in order to work. The IEP is your child's plan in the mainstream classroom: what they will learn this year and with what support. Specialist support is what they receive in the resource room or outside class hours, and the specialist-support plan is the plan for it. You do not have to memorise acronyms: you get what they mean for your child.
Is my child's data protected?
Yes. A child's information is not a product resource. Vínculoo® works with anonymisation and data protection built into the architecture, under Brazilian data protection law, and the school decides what is shared, together with you.
My child's school does not use Vínculoo®. What can I do?
Take the conversation to the coordination team. You can introduce the platform and ask for a demonstration for the teaching staff. The school leadership or the education department is the one that decides on adoption.
