Every student learns. Just not the same way.
Vínculoo® exists so that inclusion stops depending on a school getting lucky with the teacher of that particular class.
Why Vínculoo® exists
Students with disabilities are now in the mainstream classroom. That took decades to win and will not be undone. But they arrived and the knowledge to teach them did not arrive with them: in Brazil, 93.6% of classroom teachers have no continuing education in special education.
The teacher knows that student needs something else. They just never had anywhere to learn what, and no time to work it out alone with twenty-nine others in the room. And then it looks as though the student is the problem: present, taking part, handing in the sheet, and not learning. They could learn, by another route.
Vínculoo® shows what that route is. It does not turn the teacher into a specialist: it puts the specialist's knowledge inside the teacher's work, at the moment they are doing it. Who the student is, which strategy works, how to adjust the learning objective without lowering it, what format the material needs to arrive in. The teacher reviews, decides and applies.
What we do beyond the product
One per cent of our revenue becomes platform licences for schools in underserved regions, at no cost to them.
Today this happens through a cooperation agreement with the municipality of Osasco, in São Paulo.
This is not year-end philanthropy. It is the same platform, with the same support, for those who could not afford to contract it.
- Technology is the means.
- Inclusion is the reason.
- And equity is the outcome.
