Vínculoo® MCP: connect Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini

Vínculoo® is launching the Vínculoo® MCP, the connection that brings the special and inclusive education data of your school or school network to the artificial intelligence you already use. With it, Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini look up the students, plans and support sessions recorded on the platform and answer from what is on record, not from guesswork.

Student privacy was the starting point: the AI only reads, only sees what your profile already sees, and loses access the moment you turn the connection off.

The MCP is available to every account on the platform. You connect it in your AI settings, with your Vínculoo® login, with no code and no key to copy.

What MCP is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant look things up in a system in an organized way and with permission. It is what connects Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini to Vínculoo®.

Data privacy and security

Data about special education students covers health, development and family life, and it almost always belongs to children and teenagers. The LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Brazil's data protection law) treats this kind of information as sensitive data and calls for extra care with it. That is why the Vínculoo® MCP opens no door that your profile on the platform does not already have.

  • The permissions are yours. The AI looks things up with your login. It sees the same schools, classes and students that your profile already sees on the platform, and nothing more.
  • It reads, it never changes. The connection is read-only. The AI does not create, edit or delete any plan, record or document.
  • No key to pass around. The connection uses your platform email and password. There is no key or code that could be forwarded in a message or forgotten in a spreadsheet.
  • You turn it off whenever you want. To end access, just remove the Vínculoo® connector in your AI settings. From then on, it looks up nothing else.

Where the information goes

What the AI looks up in Vínculoo® goes to the AI account you connected, just like any content you send to it. That is why choosing the account matters as much as the connection: use an account approved under the data policy of your school or network.

Good practices for schools and networks

  • Decide which AI accounts can be connected and agree on it with the team.
  • Prefer institutional AI plans, where the provider commits not to use conversations to train its models. Check the terms with whoever handles technology and data protection at the school or network.
  • Ask only for what you need for the task at hand.
  • Review what the AI wrote before sending it to families, the education department or other professionals.
  • Ask for the connector to be removed when someone changes roles or leaves the school.

Your AI stops guessing and starts looking things up

Without the connection, the AI only knows what you type. To ask for a summary of a student, you have to copy the Individualized Education Plan (PEI, in Brazil), paste the records and explain the context, and even then the answer depends on what you remembered to include.

Connected to Vínculoo®, the AI itself looks up the student's repertoire, the IEP, the records and the specialized educational support (AEE, in Brazil) schedule, and answers based on what is on record. Some questions that now get an answer:

In pedagogical coordination

  • Which classes have the most students without a plan?
  • What changed in the IEPs of 3rd grade students this month?
  • List the students with a pending case study.

In AEE

  • Give me a summary of the student's progress before today's session.
  • Which goals in the AEE plan (PAEE) have no records yet?
  • Which strategies have already worked with this student?

In network management

  • What is the IEP coverage at each school in the network?
  • Which schools recorded the fewest support sessions this term?
  • Which schools are behind on their progress records?

How to connect, in three steps

  1. Add Vínculoo® to your AI. In the settings of Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, add Vínculoo® as a connector.
  2. Sign in with your account. Log in with the same email and password you use on the platform. There is no key or code to copy.
  3. Ask in your own words. Chat normally, in your own language. The AI checks Vínculoo® whenever the question calls for it.

What you can do with the MCP

  • Keep track of plans. See which students have their IEP and PAEE up to date, which are pending and what has changed since the last review.
  • Prepare for sessions. Before AEE, read the student's repertoire, goals and latest records in a single summary.
  • See the whole network. Compare schools and classes: plan coverage, sessions delivered and progress records.
  • Talk with families. Organize the points for the meeting from the recorded progress, in language the family understands.
  • Combine it with other data. Bring Vínculoo® information together with the attendance or assessment spreadsheets you already use in your AI.
  • Write from the record. Draft official letters, reports and feedback in the AI itself, based on what is on the platform.

Two ways to use AI in Vínculoo®

The MCP does not replace Apoio Inteligente®. The two work together.

  • Apoio Inteligente®: the AI specialized in special and inclusive education, inside the platform. It drafts the IEP, adapts activities and suggests strategies for the teacher to review.
  • Vínculoo® MCP: the AI you already use, connected to the data of your school or network. For asking questions, combining information and getting ready, outside the platform.

To create or edit plans and records, you still use the platform or Apoio Inteligente®.

Schools and networks that already use Vínculoo® can connect their AI today. If you are not a customer yet, you can learn about the Vínculoo® MCP and talk to our team.
